One of the Gathered Worlds, the home base of the Talebba. As planets go, Brennis is fairly small; about the size of Ganymede. Its crust is entirely crystalline, and forms a major store of Talebba knowledge. Brennis is surrounded by numerous sparkling rings: these are Talebba come to visit the world and each other.
The Talebba are space-borne entities; they evolved in cosmic clouds, not on a planetary surface. Still, in dealing with other races they found it convenient to have a planetary base, so they established Brennis. On the surface, there are several enclaves of visiting aliens, and the Hlutr maintain a small forest on Brennis.
