Council of Euphrates

Gathering of Noble Families convened in 460 by Empress Catherine Carroll in an attempt to find common ground and stop the ongoing dissolution of the First Empire. Notable parties included Philip d'Herelle, Chen of Chen, representatives of the Adelhardt and Lütken Families, and envoys from Odonia, Elendan, Teleskany, and the Patalanian Union.

The Council met for three tendays, then broke up without significant accomplishment.
